Experience an Exhilarating Roatan Dolphin Encounter

Anthony’s Key Resort and the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences offer recreational and educational dolphin programs will satisfy the curiosity of guests of all ages. Resort guests and visitors to Roatan can experience a friendly Dolphin Encounter, snorkel with more than a dozen dolphins on the very tactile Dolphin Snorkel or be amazed on the Dolphin Dive when two or three of the institute’s dolphins arrive in the open ocean to dive and frolic and then return home.

Guests and visitors can participate in unique programs that allows them to become a Trainer-for-a-Day, or for more in depth learning of the dolphins they can enroll in the two-day Dolphin Specialty Course. And for the kids in the family, AKR and RIMS offer the six-day Dolphin Scuba Camp during the summer months.

The dolphin activities at Anthony's Key Resort are unique by design, as many of the programs offer participants the unusual opportunity to interact with dolphins on the mammal's own initiative and natural curiosity.

Reservation Information

Reservations for all Dolphin Programs must be made through the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences.
Guests of Anthony's Key Resort are given priority scheduling.
12% sales tax is included in all prices and all prices are listed in USD.
There are no advance bookings for dolphin activities.
Reservations are made on a weekly basis at the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences.

Notice to Cruise Line visitors:

If you are visiting Roatan for one day on a cruise, the Dolphin Encounter and Dolphin Dive are pre-arranged and offered as excursions during the hours that the ship is in port.

You may reserve these activities through your cruise line’s website or at the shore excursions desk onboard. All ship excursions include transportation and are the most convenient way to participate in our Dolphin Programs.
