Weddings at AKR
Anthony's Key Resort is the perfect location for a relaxing and worry-free wedding. The AKR team will take care of the details while you dive, snorkel and relax during this special time in your lives. A genuine effort will be made to ensure that your wedding is the carefree and happy event you want it to be. Your wedding will be arranged for a weekday afternoon to embrace the evening sunset. There is no dedicated wedding site; instead, you will have the opportunity to choose your very own special location. Weather it is the sunset deck overlooking the ocean and evening sunset, a cozy beach on Bailey’s Key, poolside on Anthony’s Key or a private ceremony on your cabin’s deck. The wedding ceremonies are simple formalities that are conducted by an officiator from the Roatan municipality.

Package Price: $1200
Package based on wedding couple, plus 2-4 guests.
Package can be scaled for additional guests.
Paperwork Requirements:
- Copies of Birth Certificates.
- Copies of Passports.
- Medical report stating that he/she is in good physical condition and apt for matrimony (HIV Test).
- Statement of Martial Status- All foreigners being married in Honduras must obtain a written statement from the Consular Office of his/her nationality stating their Civil Status and assuring that with the laws of his or her country there are no legal impediment to get married.
- Death Certificate of deceased spouse, if applicable.
- Divorce Decree, if applicable.
- Minors under 21 years of age must have written parental authorization.
- Occupations of the couple.
- Two witnesses, with identification. (If traveling alone, AKR will provide two witnesses.)
- Occupations of witnesses.
All paperwork must be faxed to the resort no less then 14 days prior to the wedding to allow for proper inscription with local authorities. You may also mail copies of these documents to the following address:
