We spent the Christmas week of 2009 at AKR. The weather the first 3 days did not cooperate but despite the rain, we still got in several great dives. The picnic at Maya Key was postponed but we still had it later in the week. This trip had several first's for my wife...First shark dive, First dolphin dive and first night dive in the ocean. I can not imagine a better place to have a land based diving vacation.

There is no place on earth like AKR! We can't stay away and plan to make this an annual trip. This year we are bringing along our two adult daughters, our son-in-law and several friends. We hope to fill an entire dive boat with Marvin as our dive master - the best dive master in the world. Thank you AKR for bringing our idea of a tropical paradise vacation to life!!

I did a day dive trip in february of 2008 and enjoyed it. I have dove all over the world, and thought diving the trench and in the beatiful waters of Honduras was by far the most amazing! Great staff, great dive, great fun!

This was our second stay in one year! Yes, we are thrilled with AKR!! I really don't think it is possible to have a better vacation. We would love to thank Yolanda for her wonderful hospitality, Richard for being the best small boat handler ever, and Marcos and Celasi for making dining a pleasure!!! By the way, the Soup Lady is fabulous!! We will see all of our wonderful friends at AKR again next fall! Have a great new year!

We usually dive alone but Junior was the best underwater ambassador one could ask for! The Dolphins were a kick and the staff all quite nice. The night dives were other worldly and we recommend buying the DVD to share with family...it has enchanted 4 year olds to 80 year old family. We will tour some more on our own and come back to be spoiled with the outstanding hospitality and expertise of the staff...esp Junior .. thank you for a perfect vacation..

We were stranded at the airport after a wonderful week there,when Sherry came to the rescue of 26 divers,returned us to the resort,and fed us a complimentary dinner,untilour disabled plane could take off.Your staff and facility are amazing.Thank you so much.A 5 star review was sent to Trip Advisor!!!

my wife and i came here for the dolphin encounter. we had no idea it was gonna be so amazing. we plan to come back next year and do the dive package.

Hi I was hoping Tom and Kathy from Long Island is on this..We dove together from 9-21- 9-26, Gregg and I (Laura) tried looking for you before you left to give you our information, but we missed you. We were on Ven's boat.
